  Most athletes these days would be happy to have one of their highlight plays appear on an ESPN’s ‘SportsCenter’ Top 10 list once in their career.
  Nino Niederreiter inspired one.
  Granted, it was in hockey-mad Canada, but the Portland Winterhawks’ rookie forward has stormed into hockey’s consciousness on onto Top 10 lists with his highlights.
  He’s even earned him an entertaining nickname: “El Nino.”
  At the Canadian Hockey League’s Top Prospects Skills Competition last week, El Nino showed his sense of style in the Showdown Breakaway, which matched skaters against goalkeepers in one-on-one competition.
