The 2010 volleyball schedule will start off with a bang this season, as the biggest Division II tournament ever held in the Willamette Valley will be hosted by Western Oregon University, Sept. 3-4, in Monmouth.

The Wolves will be bring in four teams ranked in the top 25 in the preseason poll, No. 2 Cal State San Bernardino, No. 8 UC San Diego, No. 10 Metro State and No. 24 Alaska Anchorage. Joining them in the two-day Phoenix Inn GNAC Conference Challenge will be Central Washington, Humboldt State and Western Washington.

After Day 8 of the 2010 Western Oregon Fall Camp, Caleb Singleton has been designated Camper of the Day, by coach Arne Ferguson.

“Caleb is a great leader and is playing really well,” coach Ferguson declared. “He is really the quarterback of the team, and I think he had one of his better days today.”
