Ducks set to use Huskies in CFP resume

How can the CFP judges pass over the Ducks after they clobber Washington on Friday?

The University of Oregon football team is headed to Las Vegas to play for the Pac-12 Conference title in football Friday. There's plenty of reason to think the Ducks are going to destroy the Huskies of Washington, which should give them a spot in the College Football Playoffs - one of the four spots available.

Georgia (12-0) seems a gimme since it's won the past two titles and is No. 1 currently, headed into the SEC title game against Alabama.

No. 2 Michigan, fresh off a win over unbeaten rival Ohio State, seems a gimme as well headed into the Big-10 title game against Iowa. Even if they somehow lose to the Hawkeyes. Only if Alabama beats Georgia would the Wolverines.

No. 3 is likely Florida State just because the Seminoles would be unbeaten if they take out Louisville in the ACC title game.

It's No. 4 where the Ducks would settle in at as Pac-12 champs if the CFP judges have their wits about them. Let's all hope they do.

One-loss Texas will be pushing for that No. 4 spot if it beats Oklahoma State in the Big-12 title game, as will one-loss Alabama if it beats Georgia.

Ohio State will be chomping for No. 4 Michigan beats Iowa, pushing its resume of only having lost to UM in a nasty battle.
