Beavers lined up for bowl run

Opportunity exists aplenty for OSU to make a national impression

OSU plays seven games at Reser Stadium, and only travels outside the Northwest three times.

A year after one of its most truly disappointing seasons, Oregon State's football program is back in gear with a truly fabulous schedule to redeem itself.

The Beavers wound up 5-7 overall in 2024, the Beavers are looking ahead to a schedule that has seven home games and two road games against rivals Oregon and Washington State leaving them to travel outside the Northwest just three times in search of a bowl game bid.

Although 5-7 is not "truly disappointing," the team reached that level due to the nature of its games.

Following a 38-21 upset of Purdue in Corvallis, and an overtime victory against Colorado State, the Beavers were 4-1 with its lone loss at No. 1 Oregon. But, that's where the magical season ended.

Oregon State went 1-6 the remainder of the season, with the first two of those losses coming by five and eight points as it dropped to 4-3.

The Beavers' lone win the rest of the season was over Washington State, 41-38, on Nov. 23.

The 2025 schedule features seven home games, and a home-and-home series with Washington State. The Beavs also play at Oregon.

OSU's opening month of five games closes with the game at Oregon, Sept. 20, and then a Friday night game at Reser Stadium against Houston that will be nationally-televised.

Following a road trip to Boone, N.C., to play Appalachian State, Oct. 4, the Beavers are at home for four straight games.
