
Eugene Marathon welcomes first-time champs
Hayward Field serves as perfect home for Eugene Marathon

Bradley Hodkinson and Anna Kenig-Zeisler showed off for a motivated crowd by winning the Eugene Marathon Sunday, closing out the 26.2-mile course at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus.
Hodkinson, 28, a one-time Pacific Lutheran University standout, finished in two hours, 19 minutes and 43 seconds, beating Springfield's Logan Auxier by 44 seconds.
Kenig-Zeisler, a 25-year-old PhD student at the University of Washington, finished in 2:36.54, the fourth-fastest result in the event's history.
