Journal returns via weekly e-mails

The PDF version of the magazine will be e-mailed to subscribers beginning in May

The joy of magazine publishing will be on display weekly through PDF versions of Oregonsports Journal, which has been published digitally and in print sporadically since 2001, beginning again in May.

The magazine was regularly published online in 2009 and 2010, but has not since then other than regular cover productions.

Some of the top subjects of issues include the history of the Portland Timbers and one-time owner Harry Merlo, Portland's mission to lure the 1968 Summer Olympics to Delta Park and numerous annual previews of the state cheerleading finals.

The magazine returned with a feature on girls wrestling for the 2020 state meet.

Many of the stories created for Oregonsports Journal will connect with videos on oregonsports.com.
