Pilots women highlight statewide hoop success

Portland, Eastern and Southern Oregon all played into postseason action

The University of Portland women's basketball team reached the NCAA Tournament for the second time in four years, and actually got to play a game this time.

But, the Pilots weren't the only success story for Oregon basketball teams.

Eastern Oregon won the GNAC conference women's tournament and then reached the second round of the NAIA tournament.

Southern Oregon also qualified for the NAIA tournament and won a game - scoring the tourney's biggest comeback ever.
