State getting primed for top hoop tournaments
The holidays feature the annual tournament blowouts
With the end of the year in literal sight, that's the time when the top basketball tournaments arrive in Portland and Hillsboro, and this year is no exception.
The Les Schwab Invitational is set to begin in Hillsboro on Dec. 26, with the Pacific Office Automation tournament set to play out Dec. 28-30.
Both tournaments feature top teams from out-of-state as well as top Oregon teams. The LSI plays at Hillsboro and Liberty High Schools.
The POA tournament plays out across Portland at Franklin, Grant, Lincoln and McDaniel High Schools.
